Sorting places our choices into two piles. One pile is the don’t-like, not-good-enough or fallacious stack. These are the flavors we don’t get pleasure from, the paths which are useless ends and the folks we merely don’t need to hang around with.
The opposite pile meets spec. The opposite pile is nice sufficient.
Selecting among the many good pile makes a small distinction, however getting the piles proper is the arduous half. On a regular basis we’re agonizing about our decisions, we’re avoiding the arduous work of actually contemplating how we sorted issues within the first place.
We have to spend much less time selecting and extra time sorting.
