It’s simple to be distracted by the wave that’s crashing on the shore.
Then again, the tide is inexorable. It’s the long-term development, the one that’s quietly occurring, over time.
Generally, a giant wave comes alongside and we lose our focus. It’s pressing.
However anticipating and dealing with the tide pays off. Waves burn out.
